Bees, trees, butterflies, spiders, birds and more helped us to raise our 5th green flag high above our school yesterday!! Well done all!
A special thanks to Niamh McCarthy, Cork’s silver medal winner in 2016’s Summer Paralympics, and Cork city councillor Joe Kavanagh who raised the flag with us.
It was a fantastic day with minibeast hunts, planting, and butterfly art, finished with an ice cream in the yard in the sunshine. Thank you to the whole school community for all their help making this day great!
