Hi All,
Well done on our first week in school – all pupils are well settled and so independent coming in each morning. Thank you for your support and encouragement.
Our Wear what you Want on Wednesdays continues as it will give you a chance to wash and dry tracksuits/uniforms and the children enjoy it.
We are still under Covid guidance from the Department and HSE so sanitising, covering coughs and sneezes and washing hands regularly will be a daily repeated practice in school. Please do not send your children in if unwell or displaying symptons of colds/flu or tummy bugs. As you know infection spreads rapidly in schools.
If you wish, on rainy days you may want to send your child in in wellies with spare socks and sneakers/shoes in a bag. We will change them in class and don’t worry if they get tracksuits wet we have spares to change them if needed. (If you have any track bottoms your child has grown out of we would be grateful if you would donate them to us)
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff for their work, dedication, care and energy in providing such great support to you and your children at this most important time in our little ones lives.
