Active School Week got off to a flying start this Monday with a whole school practise of the ‘Cha Cha Slide’. This was followed by jogging laps of the yard, an obstacle course and basketball- dribbling, throwing, catching, in the back yard.
Every day this week the children will participate in at least 3 activities to promote exercise and movement as part of a healthy lifestyle. This will be accompanied by lots of fruit tasting to reinforce that healthy eating is just as important as exercise.
