The Maths Recovery teacher along with one supporting S.E.N. teacher and the class teacher will implement Maths Recovery activities and tasks on a daily basis. The class will be divided into three ability groups and the teachers will rotate from station to station

There are three strands of Maths Recovery:

  1. Number words and numerals
  2. Counting
  3. Grouping

Each teacher will take responsibility for the planning and teaching in one strand working with all the class groupings and preparing activities according to ability and readiness. Maths Recovery support will rotate on a four week basis between all four Senior Infants classrooms
