Fairytales, stories and fun was the order of the day when room 4 went to visit Mayfield library. ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’ by Julia Donaldson was joyfully read by librarian Rose. In return, the boys and girls recited their version of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. As well as that, the children got to show off their colouring skills and browse the shelves for books of interest. When we returned to school we sat in our beautiful garden and ‘hot seated’ some of our favourite fairytale characters. What a great day!!
